Specifically designed for residential and commercial high temperature hot water applications, QAHV is the ultimate low carbon solution for healthcare, hospitality, educational institutions and aged care facilities. Scalable to any size building, this revolutionary Hot Water Heat Pump is perfect for applications where the demand for high temperature hot water is high.
QAHV utilizes an environment-friendly natural refrigerant CO2 with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1 which does not destroy the ozone layer and contributes to the reduction of carbon emissions.
This unit can supply up to 80˚C* hot water and operate in low ambient temperatures down to -25˚C.
*Maximum outlet hot water temp on secondary side is 70°C.
The technology responsible for this reliable operation is an injection circuit which delivers an optimum amount of refrigerant to the system through a specially designed injection port to ensure stable operation.
*Under normal heating conditions at outdoor temp: 27°C DB/21.8°C WB, inlet water temp 21.1°C, outlet water temp 48.9°C.

QAHV utilizes a twisted & spiral gas cooler, unique to Mitsubishi Electric. The 3 connected refrigerant pipes are wound around the twisted water pipe, which maximizes heat transfer. The continuous spiral grooves in the twisted pipe accelerates the turbulence effect of water to help reduce pressure loss and enhance overall performance. Equipped with the latest inverter scroll compressor, QAHV can significantly increase the annual efficiency, which fixed speed systems cannot match.
With an M-NET ready connection, the QAHV solution can be controlled alongside Mitsubishi Electric’s City Multi, Mr. Slim, and others.
