The secret behind Mitsubishi Electric's superior heating capabilities is our efficient and patented Cold Climate Hyper-Heat (H2iTM) technology. Designed for the Canadian market, Hyper-Heat H2i operates at 100% heating capacity at -15°C with the FS model at -20, and the FX at -23. Hyper Heat H2iTM continues to deliver exceptional heating performance when the outdoor temperature drops as low as -37 °C*. The unique defrost mechanism provides an extended period of continuous heating between defrost cycles, and minimizes the defrost time required.
*Heats to -36.7°C (rounded to nearest integer of -37°C) on GX and FX models only. Outdoor units will operate to cut-out temperature which ranges from -36.7°C to -10°C. Product will resume operation at cut-in temperature which ranges from -25°C to -12°C. (See product documentation for details.)

Variable Compressor Speed Inverter (VCSi) Technology
All Zuba Cold Climate Heat Pump systems are powered by VCSi technology. This allows you to achieve consistent temperatures throughout your space while saving you up to $3,400* in energy costs. Unlike conventional units which only cycle between On and Off, Zuba is able to adjust capacities to continuously match the exact heating and cooling needs of your home – so you only pay for the energy you actually use.

3D i-see-Sensor
The 3D i-see Sensor* scans the entire room and divides it into 752 zones, detecting exactly where you and your family are located based on your unique body temperature, and directs the perfect amount of cool or warm air flow to match your ideal comfort level. The 3D i-see Sensor is so precise, it can even differentiate between people and pets!

Dual Barrier Coating

Nano Platinum Filter
With a 3D surface and a large capture area incorporating nanometer-sized platinum-ceramic particles, bacteria, mold, and odours are broken down.
Deodorizing Filter
The catalyst denatures odorous components and destroys them from the source, quickly delivering fresh air to your room.
Electrostatic Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter
The electrostatically charged filter efficiently traps tiny particles and the enzyme component contained in the filter neutralizes viruses, bacteria, and allergens.

Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER2) & Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER2)
SEER2 measures the efficiency level of an air conditioning system throughout an entire cooling season, whereas EER2 calculates how efficiently a cooling system will operate at a specified outdoor temperature (35°C). The higher the number the more efficient a system is. All Zuba systems deliver a high SEER2 and EER2 rating.
Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF2(V)) & Coefficient of Performance (COP)
HSPF2(V) measures the efficiency level of a heat pump during an entire heating season. COP lets you know the efficiency level during specific outdoor temperatures of the heating season. A higher HSPF2(V) and COP rating results in better energy savings. Zuba delivers high HSPF2(V) and COP ratings, ensuring your comfort during the cold winter months.
